HPI began operations in 1985 with the introduction of two products in a specialty market segment, i.e., Thru-Tubing Plug-back Products and Services. The two original products - The HIP™ Plug and HIP™ Mix Cement Blend - Have become standards in the oil industry.

HPI has been involved in over 3,000 successful plug-back projects. In 18 years, HPI has developed solutions to hundreds of special downhole problems, many of the related special tools have evolved into new HPI products.

In addition to a wide variety of E-Line, Slick Line and Coiled Tubing thru-tubing products, HPI has assembled a proven personnel team experienced in engineering design, manufacturing, production, operations and field services. This HPI resource coupled with a "can-do" philosophy has resulted in timely, reliable solutions to customer problems.

HPI offers the services of on-site technical specialists (at customer's option). The combination of HPI Specialists and products maximize the success of thru-tubing plug-back projects.
