HYDRO-MECHANICAL FIRING HEAD

The Hydro-Mechanical Firing Head is a drop bar activated system which requires hydrostatic pressure to detonate. The firing pin is held in place by steel balls which are retained by a sliding cap. Impact from the drop bar slides the cap allowing the balls to retract which releases the firing pin into the percussion detonator.
