MECHANICAL FIRING HEAD

The Mechanical Firing Head is a simple drop bar activated system. Impact of the drop bar on the firing pin shears a retention rod and allows the firing pin tip to impact the percussion detonator. Explosive initiation of the TCP system is accomplished by a detonation wave transfer from the detonator to the TCP gun receptor booster.
